Poetry collections set with the care the poems deserve

About This Service
White space belongs to the poem
Poetry needs room. Typesetting a collection involves decisions that prose rarely demands: whether each poem starts on a new page, how long lines should wrap without damaging the rhythm, how deep the gutter must be so first words are not lost in the binding.
We also help with the order of the book, which readers experience as a kind of argument. If you wish, we will read the collection as a whole and suggest where the sections turn. Chapbooks of twenty to forty pages are a good way to start, and many poets later gather them into a full collection.

Sequencing help
A second pair of eyes on how the collection moves.
Full collections usually hold 40 to 80 poems, and chapbooks about 15 to 30. Quality matters more than count, and a short, focused book beats a padded one.
A short extract is often acceptable, but copyright in poetry is strictly applied. For anything beyond a line or two, seek permission, and we can explain how.
