    About This Service

How a book feels in the hand is a decision, not a default

Paper colour, weight and finish change how a book reads and how heavy it is to hold. Cream paper suits fiction, while white suits illustrated and technical books. Matt lamination hides fingerprints, gloss makes colour pop, and a spot UV detail catches the light on the title. Readers notice these things without knowing why.
For small quantities, digital printing is economical. Beyond roughly five hundred copies, offset printing usually brings the unit cost down significantly. We quote both where it is worth comparing, and we always recommend a proof copy, because a screen cannot show you how a cover really prints.

    What Our Authors Say

    Rated 5 out of 5
They told me my second chapter was doing the work of my fourth, and they were right. The finished book reads far more cleanly.

I had never worked with an editor and was nervous about losing my voice. The notes were sharp but never took the book away from me.

Cover, layout and the Amazon set-up were all handled by one team, which saved me weeks of chasing. Files arrived when they said they would.

    FAQs

    Book Printing FAQs

With digital printing, a single copy can be printed, though the cost per copy is high. Most authors ordering for events or gifts choose between 25 and 100 copies, and we quote whatever you need.
Copies are printed only when someone orders them, usually through Amazon KDP or IngramSpark. It needs no upfront investment, but the cost per copy is higher and cover finishes are limited.
Usually above about 500 copies, or for books with colour illustrations, special finishes or hardcover binding. The set-up cost is higher, but each copy costs less.
Paperbacks (perfect bound) are cheaper and lighter. Hardcovers, with a printed case or a jacket, last longer and suit gifts, children’s books and premium titles, at a higher cost.
For text, 80 to 100 gsm uncoated paper in cream or white is standard. Illustrated books often use coated paper of 130 gsm or more. We can send samples if the choice matters.
We strongly recommend one. A proof lets you check colour, spine alignment and the feel of the paper, and it costs far less than reprinting a run.
Digital runs can ship within a week or two. Offset runs usually take three to five weeks including shipping, and overseas delivery adds time.
Yes. We quote delivery to most countries and can ship to a fulfilment centre if you plan to sell copies directly.
